AILA Releases New Edition of Immigration Sourcebook
A law school graduate of Cornell University, attorney Rodney Malpert serves as a partner at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP, in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to his professional responsibilities at the firm known for providing corporate immigration services, Rodney Malpert maintains membership in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
In mid-June 2018, AILA announced a new edition of Kurzban’s Immigration Law Sourcebook, which is the definitive resources for all key stakeholders in immigration law including lawyers, government workers, and judges. The brand new 16th edition provides a complete look at current U.S. immigration law and has been updated to incorporate the most recent cases, changes to relevant regulations, and DOJ memos.
Some of the more newsworthy topics covered in the book involve the recent cases surrounding travel bans and sanctuary cities. Additional topics include new regulations covering T-Visas, changes to grounds for asylum, and changes to the Electronic Visa Update System (EVUS), among many others.
